Security is constantly sought in the outer projection while being ignored in the inner. Our society is a reflection of this in its clinging to static ideologies while rejecting the new. It feels the old is safe, giving a form of security, even though such notional security can be clearly seen as false when astutely examined. We cling to beliefs rather than facing the pain of reality, thus disallowing the essence of Jesus to penetrate and the level of our consciousness be raised. Our religious institutions miss the mark. The essence is locked away in a concept and this is the tabernacle veiling our ignorance. There is no penetration, no lift-off and, therefore, no transformation.
